Rads Mydam
Chief Information Officer

Rads Mydam serves as Chief Information Officer for Anchor Insurance Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiary companies: Anchor Property & Casualty Insurance Company and Anchor Specialty Insurance Company.

With 20 plus years of experience, Rads leads the IT department and is tasked with developing, modernizing and restructuring the business and technology systems that drive Anchor’s daily operations. Rads ensures the tight execution of best-in-class IT and business practices with a focus on quality assurance and improving operational efficiencies.

Prior to joining Anchor, Rads served as Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Capital Insurance Group in Monterey, California. In this role, Rads transformed the company’s 200 member IT organization, establishing its first Enterprise Architecture group and project management office. Under his leadership, the company netted $2 million in savings per year in operational costs and increased revenue yields to $450 million.

Before his career at Capital Insurance Group, Rads spent nearly a decade at Liberty Mutual working as the IT Manager where he led a team of 50 plus employees. During his tenure, Rads maximized revenue growth, serving as the architect of an innovative commercial market underwriting management system that led to a $5 billion revenue surge. He also improved quality and service standards, reducing defect resolution time by 4 days and expenses in production support and maintenance by 25%.

Rads also has prior experience serving as a Consultant and Chief Strategic Advisor for several companies in the insurance industry, including Indrasol, Norfolk & Dedham Insurance Group and TNT Vacations.

Rads is the recipient of many awards including Liberty Mutual’s Platinum, Gold and Quartz Level Awards. He also earned a certification in Project Leadership, Management and Communication from the George Washington University and holds the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Designation.

Rads graduated from the University of New Hampshire with an MBA in Private Equity and Venture Capital. He also holds a Master of Engineering in Automation and Robotics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
